Friday, January 11 Pause, Reflect and Connect at 6:30-7:30PM | Prana Dance at 7:30-8:30PM with Kristin Hicks
Prana Dance is an artistic way to express our true selves through movement in connection with music. At the heart of Prana Dance is prana, the Sanskrit word for life force or vital principle. Participants experience the five elements - earth, fire, water, air and ether,moving their body in ways that feel present, connected, honest and unscripted.
Join us an hour prior to Prana Dance in which we will make space to pause, reflect and connect. We are all looking for a space where we feel safe to express who we are and witness the light in others doing the same. Before we express ourselves through movement in Prana Dance, we have an opportunity to share our voice and reflect on internal dialogue through group conversation and journaling exercises. Our topic of discussion will be brought into our dance, making the experience even more transformative. We will honor this sense of community over light snacks and tea.
