Off the Mat I like to: Reading and forever learning new things. Listening to music that speaks to my soul. Dancing like no one's watching because life is too short not to. Spending time in nature because it reminds me how much beauty there is in the world. Always laughing.
I am mostly self-taught. When I found yoga in 2013, I hit a low point and am forever grateful to the practice for turning my life around, helping me find purpose in my struggle.
As a Registered Dietitian, I believe that health and wellness not only comes from what we feed our body, but also how we nurture our mind and spirit. With awareness and non-judgement, I strive for balance in all things both on and off my mat.
Yoga has been a remarkable tool for self-expression – allowing me to find freedom not only in the movement but also during the moments of stillness. Yoga continues to lead me down the path of radical acceptance and unconditional love for myself and others. I am inspired by music, movement, and nature, and believe in the power of a good sense of humor.
