Join Karen in a pre-holiday restorative yoga practice as she reads us a version of the Bhagavad Gita. You will be guided through a series of completely supported poses that allow your body to gently open in a supported way. While we remain in these supported poses for a length of time, Karen will read us an engaging version of the book the Bhagavad Gita, which is a part of the Epic Mahabarata from India. It was inspiration for many modern thinkers, including Gandhi. It is the story of a conversation between Prince Arjuna, and his charioteer/guide Krishna, as they explore the question of what is Yoga?

John of God Crystals Bed Healing with Crystal Sound Vibration
with Priscilla Gale 6-8pm Friday, January 19 Fee:$30.00 Sound Bath only, $35.00 Crystal Bed
This is a wonderful introduction to the John of God Crystal Bed. During a 2 hour Sound Bath, 9 attendees will each have 10 minutes on the Crystal Bed. Crystals have some of the highest molecular orderliness found in nature. As the body is primarily liquid crystal (water), crystal singing bowls create a crystalline order within the cells to assist bringing about health to body and mnd, thus having a profound effect on the organs, tissues and cells as well as the circulatory, endorine and metabolic systems. A Crystal Bed has 7 extremely clear and highly polished Vogel cut quartz crystals from Brazil, each cut to a specific frequency, each corresponding to the chakras color and frequency, aligned above each of the body's 7 chakras. The chakras are then cleansed, energized and brought into balance. When combined with Crystal Sound Vibration, the healing effects can be profound, stimulating healing at the deepest resonance within the body. Participants often experience a direct connection to understanding life purposes and soul purposes as we heal by coming back into our own truth.

Spend two hours luxuriating in supportive restorative postures while receiving waves of gentle Thai bodywork, designed to move tension out of the body and encourage suppleness in the muscles and connective tissue. This workshop bestows both a calming and renewing vibe to the rest of your day - bring a friend/partner and share the love! What is Thai Bodywork? Thai Bodywork follows the energy lines ("sen") in the body. The legs and feet of the giver can be used to position the body or limbs of the recipient. In other positions, hands fix the body, while the feet do the massaging. A full Thai Bodywork session may last up to two hours and includes rhythmic pressing and stretching of the entire body. This may include manipulating fingers, toes, ears, and moving the recipient's body into many different positions.
