Enjoy standing poses? Standing postures can provide great strength in one’s body as well as giving one a strong sense of wellbeing in life. They also offer opportunity to realign one's feet, knees, hips and spine for better health and balance in the body. This 15 hour course running every other Wednesday for 10 weeks is an opportunity to strengthen your understanding of the shapes we make in yogasana and how they overlay on our anatomy. We’ll look at commonly taught alignment techniques and compare it to our embodied experience.

The key components of MBSR that make it so unique: EXPERIENTIAL learning - a dynamic group setting allows the participants to tap into their own wisdom, attend to their own experience and develop self awareness. CREATING the space and time for DAILY PRACTICE as a way of self nourishment and being responsible for your own well being. BODY MIND HEART integration that includes the practices of attention training, body awareness and mindful movement exercises, developing compassion towards yourself and others. BUILDING the FOUNDATION for regular home meditation and yoga practice that contributes to: managing anxiety, being with difficult emotions in a new way, developing resilience, cultivating joy, spontaneity and creativity, meeting the everyday life in its fulness with presence and open heart. Daily home practice (recordings and a workbook are provided)

This is a workshop to celebrate the feminine in every woman. Historically, woman have gathered together to speak encouragement, celebrate friendship, offer comfort, hear confessions, mark important events in our lives, share experiences, tears and laughter. Join us to build a community of like-minded women that encircle each other with bonds of sisterhood, linking women everywhere and bringing joy and creativity into our lives. We work, play, pamper ourselves and each other, build energy together, and honor the essence of our feminine spirit.
